Braemar Highland Games

While those Cosmics heading west to tackle Ben Nevis or the Bealach na Ba cycle sportif braved high winds and rain, three Cosmics ventured a little closer to home to the Braemar Highland Games for a sunny afternoon watching cabers being tossed & a race up Morven. It was an extremely competitive field up front with at least 3 members of the Scottish team which went to the World Trophies. Unfortunately I didn't memorise all the placings but Dan had a good run although he just missed the prizes in the open. Dennis managed to win 2nd Vet (in 14th place) as some other notable Vets had entered the open category and Jason was 12th . Click here for some photos of the action.
